Best Hydro Carbon Refrigerant — Home of Eco Kold™

The BHCR Hq story covers 30+ years of innovation.

Our story begins in 1992...

when Greenpeace created the first domestic refrigerator using pure butane. In 2008, our engineering team from the US, Israel, and Panama decided to investigate the family of liquid petroleum gases—including butane.

we created the first generation of a new environmentally friendly and high efficiency refrigerant. Version 1.0 went to market in 2010 to great success, showing our distributor partners how much money they could save.

Now we are onto version 10...

We just keep improving on our formula, leading to more efficiency and more savings for you and your customers.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

To understand how it works, let’s use an analogy. Think about your heart. Imagine an overweight person. The heavier they are, the more energy required to supply blood to their body. A heavier person must work harder to walk up the stairs than a thin person.

Your AC unit is subject to the same physics.

Our refrigerant competitors are like that overweight person with an overworked heart. Their product requires more gas and more pressure to cool the room.

This means more work and higher costs to you.

But if you reduce your “heart”—if you cut down on the gas/pressure for cooling—your AC’s workload decreases, saving you energy and cutting costs.

``We replaced refrigerant in all of our 100 units. The savings we achieved were much higher than expected.``

``All our refrigeration equipment has been working with a new ecological refrigerant. We generate savings of 37% of the total bill.”

OUR SAFETY

The combination of natural elements and our proprietary technology makes Eco Kold less flammable. And safer than other refrigerants.

For point of comparison: the autoignition temperature of gasoline fuel is 180° Celsius (how hot it must be to catch fire).

Eco Kold’s autoignition is 615° Celsius, significantly cutting down the chances of catching on fire by an unprecedented factor of 5.
